Remove AI Image Labels for Social Media

Facebook, LinkedIn, X and Threads increasingly surface AI provenance on uploads. NoMoreAI removes the C2PA Content Credentials, IPTC source markers and EXIF/XMP strings that trigger those labels — so the file you upload is the file you intended.

What social platforms detect

Most platform AI labels come from reading embedded provenance: C2PA Content Credentials, IPTC DigitalSourceType (trainedAlgorithmicMedia), and generator strings in EXIF/XMP. Remove those and the file stops declaring itself as AI.

Clean once, post anywhere

Download the cleaned image and upload it wherever you like — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X or Threads. The cleaned file is a normal JPG, PNG or WebP with the metadata stripped.

Honest scope

Metadata removal removes the tags platforms read. It does not remove pixel-level AI signals, and platform-side detectors may still act. NoMoreAI never promises to make an image undetectable.

Do it in bulk

Posting a campaign or gallery? Use Bulk cleanup to strip metadata from a whole set of images and download them as one ZIP before scheduling.

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms show AI labels?

Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn and X can all surface AI provenance from C2PA Content Credentials or IPTC source markers — and some also run their own detection.

How do I stop a platform labelling my image as AI?

Remove the embedded AI metadata before uploading. Clean the file in NoMoreAI, then post the cleaned copy so it no longer carries the C2PA/IPTC/generator tags platforms read.

Does this remove AI tags from any tool's output?

Yes — ChatGPT/DALL·E, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Gemini, Stable Diffusion and Flux all write similar C2PA, EXIF or XMP tags, and all are removed.

Is removing metadata legal?

Cleaning metadata from images you own or have rights to is generally legal. Do not use it to deceive people about content you do not own — check each platform's rules.

Will platforms still detect AI?

Maybe. Metadata removal is not a detector bypass. Pixel-level signals can remain; NoMoreAI removes metadata and provenance only.

Can I clean a whole campaign at once?

Yes — Bulk cleanup strips metadata from a batch and returns a single ZIP, ideal for scheduled social posts.

Is it free?

Yes, free and supported by ads, with a planned PRO tier for higher limits and no ads.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser; files never leave your device.
