Stop the “AI-generated” label
NoMoreAI removes C2PA Content Credentials, EXIF, XMP, IPTC, PNG text chunks and JPEG comments from JPG, PNG and WebP images so social platforms stop labelling them as AI-generated.
Remove the AI tagbefore you post.
NoMoreAI strips the hidden AI tags carried by ChatGPT, DALL·E, Midjourney and Gemini images — so Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn stop labelling them as AI-generated. Runs entirely in your browser.

Why it's safe
Privacy-first, from the first byte.
Processed locally
Every byte is handled in your browser. Images never leave your device.
No account, no tracking
No signup, no profile, no image database. Open and clean.
Batch or single
Clean one image or a batch — download a single ZIP.
Lossless by default
Metadata is stripped without recompressing pixels. Quality stays.
How it works
Four steps. No uploads.
Drop
Add a JPG, PNG or WebP image.
Inspect
We surface hidden EXIF, XMP, IPTC and C2PA.
Clean
Remove it in one click, locally.
Download
Grab the clean file. Originals untouched.
Bulk cleanup
Clean a whole batch — not just one image.
Most AI-tag removers stop at a single upload. NoMoreAI cleans a folder of ChatGPT or DALL·E exports in one pass and hands back a single ZIP — entirely on your device.
How bulk cleaning works- Drop a batch at once
- Parallel worker cleaning
- One ZIP download
- Nothing ever uploaded
Why it happens
Why Instagram and Facebook label your image as AI
Platforms read the file's metadata
Instagram, Facebook and Threads show an “AI info” label when they find C2PA Content Credentials or an IPTC AI source marker embedded in the image.
The tag travels with the image
ChatGPT, DALL·E, Midjourney, Firefly and Gemini write those markers on export — so the file announces itself before you even post it.
Clean it before you upload
NoMoreAI strips the markers locally, so the copy you post no longer carries the AI tag the platform reads.
What we remove
Everything your image quietly carries.
Metadata is stripped at the container level — no re-encoding of pixel data. Color profiles and image quality are preserved.

FAQ
Questions, answered
What is NoMoreAI?
NoMoreAI is a free, browser-based tool that inspects and removes embedded metadata — EXIF, XMP, IPTC, PNG text chunks, JPEG comments and C2PA Content Credentials — from JPG, PNG and WebP images. It runs entirely on your device.
How do I remove the AI tag from an image?
Drop the image into NoMoreAI, click Clean Image and download the cleaned copy. It strips the C2PA Content Credentials, IPTC AI source marker and EXIF/XMP generator strings that make a file announce itself as AI-generated.
Why does Instagram or Facebook say my image is AI-generated?
Instagram and Facebook read AI provenance embedded in the file — usually C2PA Content Credentials or an IPTC DigitalSourceType of trainedAlgorithmicMedia. Clean the image before uploading and the tag is gone.
Does it work for ChatGPT, DALL·E, Midjourney and Gemini images?
Yes. The same C2PA, IPTC and EXIF/XMP tags those tools write are removed, regardless of the generator.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Inspection and cleaning happen locally in your browser using Web Workers. Your files never leave your device and are never stored.
Is NoMoreAI free?
Yes. The core tool is free and supported by ads. A PRO tier with no ads, higher limits and more formats is planned.
Which file formats are supported?
JPG/JPEG, PNG and WebP.
Does cleaning reduce image quality?
No. Metadata is removed at the binary level without recompressing pixels. The only re-encode case is when EXIF orientation requires physically rotating the image.
Does removing metadata make an image undetectable as AI-generated?
No. NoMoreAI removes embedded metadata and provenance only. Pixel-level signals and watermarks may remain, and AI detectors can still flag an image.
What is the difference between metadata and a watermark?
Metadata is structured data stored alongside the pixels (EXIF, XMP, C2PA). A watermark is embedded in or over the pixels themselves. NoMoreAI removes metadata, not watermarks.
Can I clean many images at once?
Yes. Bulk cleanup analyzes a batch, cleans every file locally and packages the results into a single ZIP download — something most AI-tag removers don't offer, since they only handle one image per upload.
Do I need an account?
No account, no signup and no personal data required. Open the page and clean.
Does cleaning change the size of the file?
Slightly smaller, usually. Removing metadata segments typically reduces file size a little while leaving the image identical.
